In 2019, I was elected to serve the final year of the previous Faculty Regent’s three-year term. In 2020, I won my own three-year term. The current list of Regents, as well as official Board information, is available on MSU’s website:

One of my many Regent duties is providing updates to the Faculty Senate. Regular reports are available in the Senate’s BlackBoard shell, and in the ScholarWorks archives in the library, but none of that information is freely available on the web.
To aid the communication efforts of Senate (which has benefited from particularly strong leadership as of late), and reach constituents who find it difficult to access Sharepoint or buried BlackBoard shells, I’m going to offer open access to the essential information I have supplied on the Senate floor. The “Senate” page includes reports and presentations from June 2021 on, while the “SACSCOC” link provides the information posted on the Accreditation and Assessment Sharepoint. (Given how often faculty encounter issues we are told are external assessment mandates, this separate SACSCOC page seems warranted.)
